Dota 6.69 Secret, The Hidden Quest guide. IceFrog already updated us that there will be another quest in 6.69 which will follow the tradition. Kael in 6.49, Tauren in 6.59 and now Icarus in version 6.69. In order to finished the quest, you will have to destroy runes, kill all the IceFrogs to summon the Ancient Phoenix Boss and finish him. You will get a cool reward item in return.

DOTA 6.69 QUEST GUIDE

DESTROY THE RUNES:

First you will need to destroy the PreRune so that the two other runes will show up in the map.

• You can found the PreRune near the neutral camp 4 of the scourge..

• After destroying the PreRune, 2 runes will be summoned in the map. The first one can be found near the top of the Scourge's 2nd tower and the second rune can be found near the bottom of Sentinel's first tower. Its up to you what rune to be destroyed first it does not affect the quest.

• After destroying the three runes, The 10 IceFrogs will automatically spawn all over the map. Five IceFrogs will spawn at the Sentinel side and the other five will spawn at the Scourge side.



Hint: Since IceFrogs are invisible and can not be killed by physical attacks. You will need to have Gem of True Sight and Dagon.

• After killing all IceFrogs, your hero will be killed instantly and a message will appear: "Player has been killed by Phoenix". Quest is successful if that message appear, Icarus will appear at the bottom right of the map.



KILLING THE PHOENIX:

The Phoenix has 20,000 HP and has very fast regeneration. Leave him for couple seconds and his health will be full again. The Phoenix also have the skill "Summon Super Nova 1", When the Super Nova is falling, all units will be stunned (global) for about 10 seconds. After you killed him, he will transform into an egg and the Phoenix will be reborn.. and YES! you will have to defeat him again..

You can generate your own strategy in killing Icarus the Phoenix, In this guide, I use Dragon Knight and use -wtf mode + "whosyourdaddy", after killing the Phoenix, It will drop the reward item: "Ancient Medallion" which will grant your hero some evasion, +75 all stats and ability to spawn 9 illutions(active) and 3x critical. That's all! Thank You!
